Unbridled capitalism, as depicted by strict Libertarians and championed by Murry Rothbard, would almost entirely eliminate government, devolving its police, military, judicial, and custodial services to voluntary private associations. Everything would be privately owned, including rivers and natural resources. The air could not be owned as private property, but some might have to pay others not to pollute it. Streets would be privatized as we now have privately owned malls. Policing and judiciary would be privatized.
